I think I have the same issue, on my machine Syncthing used more than 4GB of RAM and made the full system unresponsive. I was syncing a folder of 200GB...

Same issues on all my machines, Rasperry PI 3B+ on Raspbian Buster, Custom NAS on Debian Stretch, Laptop on Windows 10 (+5GB of RAM used...)... Changing the database tuning setting...

Thanks, I saw the experimental branch but I wasn't sure if it works for ssh remote, and should I use the experimental branch on both the source and remote ?...

I just updated to fix the device_id casting issue to the latest branch and did not realize I needed this for the NFC-tag jukebox I also use for my kids....
