I guess it must be something to do with the manipulated core files . cuz the steam overlay hooks into the original exe file. with the gog version it works...

IDK maybe to much in the cache of the ram from the server.. or the users computer cannot cache more clientsided files... Maybe get a ram check from the hosting...
