As discussed in #82, will introduce [tbump](https://github.com/your-tools/tbump) instead to resolve the issue of having to manually keep the version in sync in two places.

Could be also resolved by switching from poetry to hatch.

This needs to be rebased on #113 after merge, to get rid of the garbled output in the coverage comment above.
