for my purpose, I'd like to (a) know the bitlength of integers at compile-time and (b) be able to change to different length as it is currently possible with floats....

is this still an issue? I don't have a Windows machine here to test for myself but it's kind of an old bug and lots happened on the MS implementation...

by having so many contributors, would be great to have a list... @miguel-negrao, I saw that in supercollider/supercollider#2333 you mentioned an automated way to prepare something like this?

It is mainly compiling the sources and test if `JPverb` and `GreyHole` do something reasonable on scsynth and supernova.

Unfortunately, I don't. I do not use supernova ny myself, however I'd be glad to include any fixes regarding this issue into the codebase.
