MetaAudio currently ignores the paused state of the game. I will see what I can do about it 👍

Can you check if the plugin is still doing that on newest release candidate? https://github.com/LAGonauta/MetaAudio/releases/tag/v0.3.0-rc1 If so, could you upload a save game for easier debugging?
