Perhaps an API for specific locations would be a good intermediate solution. That way a user could just pull the data for the place they're interested in at different times...

Would it be possible to make the vae-path work similar to the ckpt-dir argument, i.e. you only specify the path to the *folder*, and can then select the desired file...

Same issue here.  Fresh install from today, using all defaults, with an RTX3060/12GB.
