Reverse proxy keeps blocking when proxied service is restarted

Hi,

we noticed that when we put HARchiver in front of our internal API it works fine until we restart the API server. HARchiver will still accept requests but will hang indefinitely and not proxy the requests properly. The only way to fix this is to restart HARchiver itself, after restarting the API server. But this shouldn't really be necessary, I think.

Is there a way to fix or work around this?
