i personal dont think its needed. exif dont contain sensible private data till you enable gps inside freedcam.

can not say much about mtk soc. need a log from feature detector to see whats going on. check wiki if you dont know how to take a log.

that stuff is only for qcom socs. was needed on kitkat or lollipop to get camera logs. what i mean is this. https://github.com/KillerInk/FreeDcam/wiki/How-to-Log

hi freedcam has a log/crash reporter. create sdcard/DCIM/FreeDcam/log.txt and freedcam starts dumping its log to that file. make sure you removed freedcam from the open tasks. it check only once...
