This was in version 1.0.8, where validation is supposed to (I think) look like this, but I will switch to the 1.2 Alpha if I ever want validation again.

I'm not 100% sure if I updated `setup.py` correctly so if you could take a look at that it would be much appreciated. The main thing I'm not sure about...

This package works for me in Python 3.11. It got an update three years ago (see #9) that allows it to work in Python 3.
