Having same issue, left it in the download folder, moved it to C:\ and they both crash right after passing the password prompt.

Just ran into this. Figured I'd say it still exists.

Just chiming in and confirming that the "workaround" does not work anymore. This makes it rather difficult to share large project files with people.
