One that I am writing now :) I like that you are integrated in VS code and you show hit count information. Visual Studio's coverage viewer doesn't show hit counts...

Coming back to this. We came up with a different solution for this, it is ok if you close this as "not planned". I would do so but not sure...

I have an ETW trace that captures the CPU spike in Code.exe. Can share with you if you want. Here is a screenshot of the CPU graph: 

So far, it has not reproduced with Insiders build and extensions disabled. Will keep an eye out while finishing some edits on the document.

Thanks everyone I think this answered my question well enough. It would be good to update the docs so the output matches.
