You can Chrome's debug interface with F12 as well (on Windows at least), which seems easier.

When you're finding usages in IDEA, it already allows you to only see read or write usages. But the Elm plugin does not seem to support this at the moment.

I like using the arrow keys actually, but probably backspace is a bad idea. Because if you're searching and use backspace to delete your search term, you're likely to navigate...
