I use Linux, along with a Logitech mouse and haven't had this issue ever. Specifically the Wine/Proton bundled with XIVLauncher, using Arch.
I am on Wayland using Hyprland. It also never happened on KDE. And CPU is an i7 11700K, and NVIDIA 3070
