I also met the same issue with the latest version 3.11.1. We need to downgrade to 3.8.1 to work correctly I hope to fix this issue...

@jsjoeio Yesterday, code-server was released new of v3.12.0. But it seems that it is not fixed this issue. Will you fix this issue on v1.12.1?
