This was fixed in garry's mod iirc, very long standing bug.
Suggestion: Ask for full disk access whenever the operation is attempted perhaps?
just opening sys prefs isnt going to cut it, there's a way to tell the os that the app needs the feature as it was said above
Actually i've discovered that it is caused after switching fullscreen at least once.

@ffd8 yeah but it persists and does unhide itself after tab is used, it's a oddball
yes i'm those people who prefer portable or extracting, it's good to offer both instances for different significant audiences.
as of master currently: This is only usable with a debugger attached and pressing go to all breakpoints/exceptions. AppChooser is unusable It gets in game but does not render correctly...
How about Nokia's keymaps included in the original Maemo N900? I am not entirely sure if those can be used...
