Has anyone figured out how to apply the typescript definitions to the react-18-input-autosize fork?

Thanks @twobit but I can't get it to work. To get the declarations to be recognized at all I had to wrap them in a declare module 'react-input-autosize' { ......

This extension dynamically toggles that setting in my settings.json file, which I am tracking in git, so that causes repeated changes.
