The example uses a label with a fixed height and width so yes, in this case we can reduce the size of the foreignObject and the issue is virtually non-existent....

I ended up just building my own timeline component in the end. Wasn't too much work

Can confirm this is an issue on Mac Firefox v123.0.1. No extensions enabled
