This is a valid bug, thanks for pinging me - we’ll get it triaged and resolved.

Sorry this took us a while, but now resolved in https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/commit/426b1d4d9308ba56b58ed1998562e4553e94c831 - and we now store the favicons locally rather than hotlinking
