I like the element highlighting the number of comments on an application. Yet, the location doesn't seem quite right, especially on a mobile when it appears on a new line between 'comments on this application' and 'comments made here were sent to Casey ...

Yes. I can do a mock up of the text changes you're suggesting above. Where on the page would this go and should I be removing all the example calls?

Quite shockingly, a design of this has been created, implemented and is now live and receiving great feedback! Well done team.. a great example of research to live.

I already have an alert set up for this address. It shouldn't show me this. I seem to remember there's a design for what happens but it's clearly not been built yet!

Not implemented. I have added it to a list of ideas we might wish to test in usability testing.
