geom_ribbon(): tooltip appears in wrong place on flipped ribbon

Example:

data = {
    'val': [1, 2, 3],
    'min': [-2, -1, -2],
    'max': [1, 2, 0],
}

ggplot(data) + geom_ribbon(aes(y='val', xmin='min', xmax='max'))

The tooltip appears in wrong place on y-oriented ribbon in this example.

This problem appeared in LP v4.4.0, previously the tooltips for geom_ribbon() looked another way:
