Yep, with ~5600 clusters in my kubeconfig, Headlamp is essentially unusable on startup.
Try setting pod and system CIDRs in NO_PROXY (see [here](https://about.gitlab.com/blog/2021/01/27/we-need-to-talk-no-proxy/) for a table showing client support for that feature). It seems to be doing the trick for us.
