@AshrayK Thanks for opening this issue! Which version of Notebook are you using, and is real-time collaboration (RTC) enabled? https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab/issues/14106 concerns a similar issue with JupyterLab and RTC on.

As an alternative, if possible, you could try installing `notebook` with the `conda-forge` repo, using `conda install -c conda-forge notebook`. Does this provide Notebook 7?
