I believe you just need to set an [environment](https://docs.github.com/en/actions/deployment/targeting-different-environments/using-environments-for-deployment#using-an-environment), and it will show up in your deployment history. If it's in your [deployment history](https://docs.github.com/en/actions/deployment/managing-your-deployments/viewing-deployment-history), it should notify slack on deployments.
