If anyone else runs into this an easy solution is to overwrite endwise's CR mapping. `autocmd FileType markdown inoremap ` Problem solved 😄

This is already supported with [project references](https://www.typescriptlang.org/docs/handbook/project-references.html) and `declarationMap: true`. I've used this in yarn workspace monorepos as well as lerna/npm monorepos to jump between subprojects.
