Update: I found that [MemoryCacheAdapter](https://github.com/utopia-php/cache/blob/master/src/Cache/Adapter/Memory.php) is much more performant but not sure if its really scalable on Cloud though.

Circling back on this! I've found [DiceBear](https://www.dicebear.com/styles) which offers diverse `Identicon` & `Avatar` styles. It could be a great reference or inspiration for the Avatars API. Worth a look!
