Experiencing the same issue here. Chests in structures are broken, in villages as well as Desert Temples.

Update: The chests work when TerrainMode is set to Default, so that's what I ended up doing to generate a world without ocean biomes.

^ Me neither, turns out ocean temples are spawned in random locations even though there are no ocean biomes when using the "solution" I mentioned above. If the chests worked,...

Look at the top of the screenshot, shows 27.257 s time spent while the total of all the events doesn't even come close.

Unfortunately, this still seems to be happening. There is a post about it on my forums and it seems like almost all of my players have experienced this at least...

I have found one possible cause of this issue: If you log in to the server but cancel while it is still on "Logging in..", the error seems to happen.
