command line completion

I like that sacred generates command line utils for me, is there any chance it could also incorporate shell completion bash/zsh/etc?

One sensible option or source of reference code may be python-fire.

Oh, does python fire support tab completion? Yes, that might be a good starting point then. I would love to have tab completion, but didn't figure out yet how to do that. Over the next few weeks I won't have much time to work on Sacred, though. Any chance that you would you be interested in working on this?

Yes, python-fire can generate completion scripts according to their README.md. I'm still just getting started evaluating & using sacred so I don't think I can commit to anything at the moment. I do often contribute to the projects I end up using heavily though and this seems to have potential.
