I don't know what Twitter would do with pixel art. But just because Twitter does bad things and breaks stuff, it doesn't mean that we have to do it badly...

Looks like resizing needs a bit of a [work-around](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/23466947/how-to-create-gtk-windows-without-title-bar-with-resize-and-move-properties-wor) because we remove the window decorations. And we'd have to scale the widget at the same time.

What? You don't want a huge pair of cat eyes staring at you? 😁 We currently show all media at 100%. Having more media controls has been in the back...

Part of the problem is that there's no "right" answer here. If someone uploaded a huge and detailed picture (maybe a [reading order for a series of books with interconnections](https://wiki.lspace.org/mediawiki/File:Official_Discword_Reading_Guide.jpg)...

I think we'd have to do "10 *new* mentions in 5 minutes" (or some other metric) so that we let people reply to threads with lots of pre-existing people in....
