I think a solution would be only use MPM's crawl animation when installed together, and aquaacrobatics only needs to control bounding box.
it also happen with MPM's sleep/lay animation too
Try with 1.9.4 client, if it's still wrong this would be transformed to a ViaBackwards issue, otherwise it would be ViaRewind issue
Try to update ProtocolLib to Release
