Did you try ```sudo apt install --reinstall pkg-config```?

Go for ```sudo apt build-dep mesa``` and ```sudo apt install libxcb-shm0-dev```. It should install all dependencies.

@iamSlightlyWind You need to put box86 binfmt.d config on host and restart binfmt.d on host. Than it should work.
