Potential idea: lock icon/button in the bottom left corner to toggle this functionality? I don't think we need a fresh endpoint, but we can add a query param: `?locked=true`

Also, when someone in a locked environment tries to do something, perhaps the lock should show up for a few seconds, before fading again
