It's intended to adjust the wallpaper colors before applying it, it's not meant to be a consistent filter style.
I have added the [option to save effects in the Wallpaper screen in the new interface of the app](https://github.com/Hamza417/Peristyle/commit/9fe85b38ae2c0427a483e5ab6e3a0780b8308ef0). It has been added [in this commit](https://github.com/Hamza417/Peristyle/commit/79ba45be1639ce19369844e14d6092501e4e04a9), however a separate folder is not planned yet and reserved for future.
I'm thinking of adding an option to add multiple directories, that could solve the problem of not having the flexibility to choose different folders.
I've checked and decided not to go with it, Having multiple directories requires a totally different approach in Android and won't be worked on.
It has been added in the release v2.02_beta.
