The issue still persists when you're connected to a permanent VPN and then switch to airplane mode. When the scheduled check is triggered, the error appears as notification recurringly.

The PR #1411 has been merged. It sets the user agent for GitLab only though, not for APKMirror or other sources.

Just discovered this app, too. Finally a todo app that fulfills my needs. I'd love to see desktop versions as well!

Same problem here. Futhermore I noticed that the permission doesn't seem to persist. When I go back to the permissions setting it's back in the blank state again.
