If you can capture the logs for that crash, I'll take a look at it. I've yet to see this one happen. The Play Store has a few logcat apps....

Is there a way to turn off Smart Boost? If you can turn it off, see if Chanu still has the gallery issue.

Can you check to make sure that all the storage permissions are allowed? This is a bit puzzling but I have a newer version that I'll link here for you...
