Seconding/bumping this. It looks like it's a two-minute setup just going off the readme, but ends up wasting time instead. Had to download the newer-than-repos version of Python3-requests in *buntu...

Also having random flickers every few minutes or so, started immediately after rebooting from kernel 4.14 to kernel 4.15 (also AMD graphics, RX 560, Padoka PPA drivers in Xubuntu 17.10...

On my end, Vader 4 Pro, also on an arch-like distro EndeavourOS, the controller does appear to be detected to an extent. Generally it'll show only the back buttons only...
