There's an update. So when I lower the opacity, the background of alacritty gets darker. It becomes completely black around 0.4 opacity, using one dark theme.

Is it something with picom? Cause previously when I used ubuntu (which had Compton I believe) had worked with no fuss.

No, I wasn't opening the settings.json while trying that. I am not sure about if I saved the json file while the UI was open. I tried re installing though...
