Confirmed, the toolbar support remains broken in XaAES.
I can confirm that this bug is present also in the XaAES-Ozk (See https://github.com/freemint/freemint/issues/241)
While the conditions required to trigger this issue are admittedly somewhat extreme, I am however still curious if someone else is able to reproduce the behaviour explained above?
Yes, the timeout value makes the problem stand out a lot more than it otherwise would, so setting the popout_timeout = 0 might hide the problem while it won't (really)...
The timeout comes into play only _after_ the mouse has left the submenu (or the main menu entry that triggered it to open). And yes, I absolutely think that closing...
I can confirm that (as predicted) there is no timeout value involved when "folding in" an open submenu by pressing left arrow button, the submenu is currently closed immediately regardless...

Btw, I see that Geneva is displayed in a "flat look", not rendering 3d-objects. It was a long time since I used Geneva, but wasn't it able to draw 3d-objects...
