If it helps, with Linux Mint it was quite a process to find the graphics card to get Speech Note to work but when switching to Ubuntu because of issues...
With Ubuntu I'm not having any of the problems I had with Mint. I just wish Ubuntu had a user friendly interface like Mint :)

Hi mkiol unfortunately I'm having the same issue with words I didn't speak being inserted with Whisper Large v2 :( (both Large-v2 and Distil Large-v2) :(
