Well there are a few things to note here. (1) The paper uses Xception, which isn't supported in this repository. (2) They use full resolution images. Are you doing that?...
Hmm I never trained that model fully, just for a few epochs. I'll look more into. If you find any improvements feel free to do a pull request! :)

Apologies for the late reply! For DDSC I always had trouble, but left the code in there for reference. So I haven't fully trained it yet :)
