@shufunk Bots should share prefixes. It's configurable for a reason.
The bot cannot currently handle either of these things - just relatively simple rolls. See `!help roll` for a description of everything its roll command does.
Editing the original message is not possible, no. Nobody (including bots) has the ability to edit other peoples' messages.

You already can control it - disable auto-respawn and listen for the relevant events yourself.
It should essentially behave as a fresh input of the command, starting over. Maybe even support using a different command?
No, the point is to avoid such an error message.
How would you express a regular expression prefix to the user? And how would you set one in a guild?
And what would be the purpose of this in the first place?
