Auto-targeting/filtering failure
With auto-target turned on PresentMon wants to target Rainmeter, even when a 3d game is running when its launched. It also will not switch to a game or other app that uses the graphics card like wallpaper engine at times. Rainmeter is an application which should be filtered out of being targeted in the Target Block List. As it should be considered a common non-realtime graphics application as everthing reads as 0 when its monitoring it.
The Target block list should also have an option to add applications to it as well, as there may be other applications that might not be recognized as something that the user would not want to have monitored, but might be caught by the software.
In my case it keeps picking up copilot making the auto-targeting feature useless. Ideally we'd have a targeting hotkey as opposed to having to alt-tab and select the process.
At "C:\Program Files\Intel\PresentMon\PresentMonApplication" or wherever you've installed it there should be a TargetBlockList.txt file. I've tested removing and editing programs to the txt file to block/enable auto-detection.
