Same issue reported in BK community https://github.com/apache/bookkeeper/issues/3094 any help is highly appreciated , thanks

Error writing broker data on metadata store KeeperErrorCode = BadVersion for /loadbalance/brokers/pulsar-broker-1.pulsar-broker.default.svc.cluster.local:8080

I'm still seeing the same error in 2.9.2 and 2.9.3 , it occasionally happened when we restart one or more ZKs.
