I get the same error. And yep, the files I try to import in Flowframes do exist! Doesn't matter if they are mp4, WAV or MKV. Not possible to use...

through this post: https://github.com/n00mkrad/flowframes/issues/113 I found that switching of my anti-virus (AVG) solved the problem. This works, but it isn't nice.......
