This appears to only work with nodes but not miners? Was hoping for both if possible. Edit: Reread, it might be what I'm looking for. Will test and see :)

I can confirm that miners use the following, https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/blob/master/API-README As they use cgminer (confirmed by files) (Looks to be the same RPC API as my Bitcoin request) @cakrit
