A bit of an update on this front: After several conversations with @dizzypaty and Marc, we've given it some thought and ordered the tasks based on how critical they are....

sg @PaulRBerg — agreed we could probably improve this error. Will take a stab at this during the next week to see if we can improve this

So, this is expected behavior regarding ambiguous paths: https://book.getfoundry.sh/forge/deploying?highlight=verify-contra#known-issues ; sadly etherscan only really handle relative paths. @ryanio 's fix works!

Just a note @hackermayor1 — #4874 will add some changes to cast send that might affect your PR.
