This is a common issue if the install/update is interrupted. Reinstall the App from the releases, then it should work

@Hedwig7s this is an Open Source project. We are all volunteers and leaving unhelpful messages on multiple issues/prs isn't really helpful.
Did you try it multiple times and did the version change finish its job?
Any errors in the console while doing that? (>_) on the top bar
