+1 for working on this. It would be really useful, as this plugin has a beautiful effect. The strange thing for me is that the hugeinc example does actually work...

+1 It makes optimizing a site almost impossible if the image carousel is used, as it will load the largest size selected, even on small mobile. That's not an ideal...
