Could you send a screenshot or describe what filter you're seeing with the "Sharp" filter enabled? Sharp should be pixel-accurate rendering without any filter or upscaling.

Setting the ROMs folder to `/sdcard/Downloads` (in this case) should only have to be done once, then the setting persists. What behavior are you missing here?
