Hi, I was only able to get this (cool) plugin to work one time then it became completely unresponsive in 2.5.16. Not sure if it's me, Coda or the plugin....
When using a 4 digit port number, e.g., 5822 Sidestep inserts a comma so it becomes 5,822 which makes connecting impossible.
Is the resource name/title supposed to be this small? Other pages show it as much larger. See screenshot highlight. 
Ability to override the default elFinder configuration file via a Property Set or some other way that's easily acessible and won't be overwritten when updated. For myself it doesn't matter...
Option to create custom elFinder (and other file manager) upload folders for each user based on the user profile (extended?) field etc. if/when necessary as opposed to one shared folder...
