I remember this happened in 2.x too, but I was able to workaround it by setting the misfire instruction to fire now. But with 3.x, the misfire trick doesn't work...

can u provide a specific example how u use topic branches. i intentionally didn't add the menu items because most of time it is wrong to merge local branch instead...

@pmme that makes sense, I have no objection if someone wants to add the menu items. @vbjay I don't know who says a developer must merge or rebase remote branches.

I didn't assume people NEVER merge or rebase local branches.
